With recent managerial determination of the Municipality of Scandicci (No. 300 of 22.10.2008), the municipality has received a gift from Matec the shelves that were unused in the former factory scandiccese.
But is it really seriously and appropriate that the government of the city accept gifts and entertain friendly relations with a company that closed a few months ago, a factory town in the territory to move production to Northern Italy and, consequently, caused the mass in hand integration of 200 employees of the city?
What happened to the uncompromising attitude that the mayor staged at the time of strong critical to the company and fight hard and pure for the maintenance of jobs?
It 'interesting that while the municipality on the one hand gives an economic sanction the company (and a large emphasis on public) for failing to meet its commitments not to close down the other calls and gets gifts from the same company (obviously quietly without press releases ...).
Although this is only shelves I do not think a respectful attitude towards the more than 200 families to the corporate decisions of the same company have lost their jobs, much less a coherent way forward.
Also concerning the supposed economic benefit of the transaction for the speaker public would be discussed, since it is true that the ownership transfer is free, but the municipality will take care of some necessary amendments to the shelves (which the matec had an industrial function, the municipality will be used for the archive) and the removal, disassembly and installation, cost of already approved by the City? € 20,294 ... a little 'bit on the shelves, right?
